IWConsulting.eu was founded by me, Iris Walenkamp.
In the past 25 years, I’ve had the pleasure of building an eclectic career in the Energy Industry where I’ve held a variety of leadership roles with a few red threads, People, Projects and Change.
In those years I’ve established and expanded my expertise in Transformational Change, building High-Performing Teams, Leadership Development, Stakeholder Management and Managing Programmes in complex matrix-organisations.
But my drive for continued growth, learning and broad development also made me take a few leaps of faith. I accepted opportunities that took me out of my comfort zone. My broadening role in Internal Audit showed leaders that an auditor with a human factor mindset can deliver excellent assurance products containing greater depth than pure compliance based reports. And as a Business Partner in Digitalisation, I developed trust-based relationships, delivered multi-year strategic plans, managed large teams of IT specialists, implemented the latest SaaS technologies and applied Agile methods. As the Chair for the enABLE network representing People with Disabilities, I found the advocate in me, it awakened a deep passion for diversity and inclusion, for equity, for doing the right thing.
Having arrived at the halfway point of my career, I’d become a true T-Shaped Professional with a growing desire to expand my established horizons, which led to taking another leap. I founded IWConsulting.eu, a Netherlands-based consulting company, which provides creative and innovative approaches to business transformation, organisational development, leadership development and change management, in all industries. The purpose of this venture is to realise ambitions that make a difference, to lead with purpose, to do the right things, based on the core values of integrity, quality and inclusion.
